Humanising Healthcare in Sheffield!

A group photograph of self-advocates smiling at the camera.

Humanising Healthcare was a face to face co-production workshop.

It was held in Sheffield on the 21st and 22nd of July 2025.

The journey was good myself and Matthew and Toni Ann and Matty P we got the metro to Newcastle train station to meet Lisa to travel to Sheffield.

The train ride was good going but coming back it was not easy to get seats.

The venue was so good and plenty of space for people in wheelchairs to get around.

I will attach the agenda for the two days so you can have a look at it. You can find it here.

After the meeting on first day, we went out for something to eat and drink near the hotel.

On the last day we went back to the venue to go over the work we did on the first day. Then got the train back to Newcastle and the metro back to Sunderland.

We learnt lots of information and feedback.

That was the last face to face meeting for that work we have one more on online that is it.

It was enjoyable and interesting two days.
