May 2025 update
Well done, Ian! £1,125 raised for Sunderland People First
Our very own Ian recently ran the Sunderland City 10k with his brother Neil. Ian wanted to raise money to donate to Sunderland People First, where he has worked for over 5 years.
Ian (and Neil) have raised a whopping £1,125 for SPF, and we couldn’t be prouder of the work they have put in to achieve this goal. Thank you!

Picnic Pick-me-up for Mental health Awareness Week
On 16th May, staff, advocates and friends of Sunderland People First made our way to Mowbray Park for a very good cause. Mental Health Awareness Week is a topic close to many of our hearts, and what better way to spend it than with friends? We ate lunch together, played games, and even took part in a quiz! The weather was lovely and we left the picnic in good spirits, giving everyone a well-deserved mental health boost.
